Going Green
Going Green
< back to going green menu
Think of Cornwall - its rugged coastline and golden beaches, blue seas and green fields behind stone hedges, that is what springs to mind. Unspoiled natural beauty is the prime reason to visit but what are we doing to preserve this lovely part of our green and pleasant land?
At Meudon we are going green. Mark and the team have attended seminars with a view to introducing environmentally friendly measures at the hotel and encourage sustainable tourism. We have joined Coast & Envision while working towards a Green Tourism Business Scheme Gold Award and BS8555 recognition.
For us, going green does not mean brown rice and open-toed sandals. Nor will we be giving you a wind-up torch and directions to your new mud hut. What we will promise to do is reduce, reuse and recycle. By making sensible decisions we can reduce our carbon footprint and our costs without any increase to our tarrif. We want you to know that Meudon is working for a better future for us all.
