A popular market set right in the centre of Falmouth on the traffic free Moor area.

Truro market takes place every Wednesday and Saturday in the piazza at Lemon Quay. Ample parking can be found at either the multi-story behind Marks and Spencers or in the car park adjacent to Tesco's car park on Newham road.

Gribbin Daymark Open Days, Fowey

NGS: Open Day at Halwyn, Truro
Halwyn has grown from farmland. The garden is still growing because of a love for colour. No set plan, plants go where they look good and if they grow they have a home. Roses are a favourite. The newest addition is the dell, a steep garden running down to the river with a breeze house at the bottom. River and surrounding area are a conservation site with beautiful scenery and birds.

Padstow's Christmas lights will illuminate Padstow Harbour throughout the Christmas Season. There are floating displays in the harbour as well as many on key buildings throughout the town.

Truro Primestock Show
The annual Primestock Show is a favourite with farmers and families alike. Lemon Quay will be filled with cattle and sheep as the best Cornish beasts are judged. Livestock will be sold and leave by 3pm, but the event is open until the evening.

Mousehole Christmas Lights
The Christmas lights in Mousehole are a stunning sight each year, with floating displays of lights in the harbour and around the streets. The 2010 ‘switch-on’ will be held on Saturday 18th December at 7.30pm.

St. Piran's Day
Take part in the annual pilgrimage from Perran Sands Holiday Park to St. Piran's Oratory and the Celtic Cross and follow the play as it is being performed.

Camborne Trevithick Day is an annual celebration of the heritage and mining heritage of the area, with the focus on Richard Trevithick, pioneer of high pressure steam - power.

St. Ives May Day
A celebration of Spring rooted in the ancient customs of the town. A weekend of concerts, guided walks and exhibitions. On the bank holiday Monday there are parades, maypole dancing and the choosing of the may king and queen.

Padstow May Day
The first day of May is Obby Oss day in Padstow. The origins of this traditional celebration are lost in the midst of time but it is thought to celebrate the arrival of Spring and may even be an ancient fertility festival.

A spring festival, the first festival after winter, featuring the Early Morning Dance, Hal-an-Tow, the Children's Dance, the Ancient Furry Dance and Evening Dance.

Daphne du Maurier Festival, Fowey
The festival is a general arts and literature festival, held in memory of Dame Daphne du Maurier, who lived and wrote in the area. A sparkling mix of star names, guided walks, talks, drama, community events and free entertainment.

Run to the Sun Festival, Newquay
Run to the Sun has grown into one of the largest Custom Car, VW and dance festival in Europe since its conception. Run to the Sun is spread over 2 sites in Newquay; Trevelgue Holiday Park which is the main event site and Tregunnel car park which hosts the Show 'n' Shine.
The cruise organised by Volksworld heralds the beginning of the festival. Starting at Helston services on the M4, VW and Custom Car enthusiasts meet at various service stations enroute to the festival site. The cruise can attract in excess of 1000 cars creating a line of traffic over 8 kilometres long.

Mabe Spring Fair
Replacing the Shindig, the Spring Fair includes crafts and Made-in-Cornwall stalls, Mabe school's craft competition, a bouncy castle, small steam engines, vintage cars and motorbikes, a hog roast, food stalls and a licensed bar.

Royal Cornwall Show, Wadebridge
For three days the Royal Cornwall Show Ground in Wadebridge hosts a 'living town' showcasing the best that Cornwall has to offer.

Murdoch Day, Redruth
Hundreds of people fill the streets in Redruth, as the Cornish town remembers its famous son, William Murdoch. With a celebration of the town's history, stalls, games and live entertainment, it's a day full of colour.

Mark Pilgrim (Managing Director) of Meudon Hotel sings Sea Shanties with Falmouth Shout.
The Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival was founded and is organised by Falmouth Shout. The continuing work by members of Falmouth Shout, with the support of the RNLI has ensured that it has become a successful and popular annual event.

Golowan Festival, Penzance
The Golowan Festival brings the past and present together in Penzance's community celebration of the traditional Feast of St. John, featuring The Golowan Band, Penglaz, Serpent Dances, The Quay Fair and more.
Mazey Day sees the town centre transformed with banners and leafy decorations, the streets closed and street markets, processions and a Serpent Dance featuring walking displays made by the children of many of the local schools in, and around, Penzance.
