Ahoy there, the Tall Ships are back! We are delighted that the historic and majestic event that is the start of the Tall Ships race ‘Magellan Elcano’ is taking place in Falmouth again (it’s been 9 years!). This prestigious event is always a HUGE deal and the breath-taking sight of these giant vessels setting sail for Spain simply must not be missed! With four days of festivities including live music, street-food, exhibitions, markets, parades, laser light shows, tours of the tall ships and much more, the town will be simply alive with celebrations for people of all ages to enjoy.

To celebrate the Tall Ships festival, and the start of the big race, which is happening between 15th-18th
August, we need all hands-on deck for a chance to win a wonderful selection of prizes!

• The prize for a two-night stay at Hotel Meudon applies to the dates of the 14th August-18th August 2023 only.
  
• The prize for A Surf N’ Turf meal for two people at Restaurant Meudon, has to be taken before 1st September 2023, and is subject to availability. This prize does not include drinks.
  
• The prize for 2 x VIP tickets for the Parade of Sail viewing event at Pendennis Castle- More information follow as the festival finalise arrangements.
• The prize for a Private tour for an hour on board a Tall Ship for two people with soft drinks reception- This will take place at 12 noon on Tuesday 15th or Wednesday 16th TBC August 2023.
  
• The prize of 2 x Visitor Mussel Cards for Fal River Cornwall Ferries will sent to the winner direct via email. Tickets are valid for a year. They can't be exchanged for a cash alternative and are valid for 1 x day only.
  
• The competition runs from Tuesday 1st August until midnight on Tuesday 8th August 2023 and the winner will be announced on Instagram and Facebook.
• Travel costs are not included in the prize, the winners will need to make their own travel arrangements. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative available for the prize as a whole or any of the elements included.
• The prize must be claimed by Thursday 10th August 2023 and can be used during the Tall Ships Festival 15th-18th August.
